Main Responsibilities- Lead the development and execution of business growth initiatives, working closely with the Business Development & Marketing team and partners.
- Manage a client target pipeline, collaborating with partners across Key Pillars and Core Sectors to drive new business opportunities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operational efficiency and excellent client experience.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators to track progress and success of pursuits initiatives.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on pursuit status, challenges, and achievements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and raise Shoosmiths' profile in the market.
- Work closely with the Director to develop strategic pursuit planning for the business.
- Collaborate across divisions to understand how best to promote them in the market.
- Be highly visible in the market, attending new prospect meetings and generating leads.
- Cultivate relationships with new clients and partners.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive new business generation experience, a proven track record of client-facing success, and a strong understanding of the professional services landscape. They will be comfortable managing stakeholders, taking a dynamic and entrepreneurial approach to business development, and be willing to tackle a wide range of responsibilities with a can-do attitude.
Risk and commercial awareness are essential, as is a willingness to innovate and explore new opportunities. Experience in connected services and holistic solutions is advantageous.
