About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Head of Maths to join our team at Willow Park School. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Mathematics department, ensuring that our students receive a high-quality education in this subject.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of teaching and leading Mathematics in a specialist or mainstream setting, with a strong focus on student outcomes and achievement. You will be an enthusiastic and flexible individual who is committed to developing the skills and knowledge of our students, and who shares our values of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Mathematics department, ensuring that our students receive a high-quality education in this subject.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies to improve student outcomes and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans that meet the needs of our students.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning in the Mathematics department, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to teach Mathematics effectively.
