Position Overview

This position is pivotal in shaping the Product and Communications Strategy for the Electrical division within the Concrete Business Unit across the UK and Nordics. Collaborating closely with the Segment leader, the successful candidate will assist in the strategic formulation and execution of Sales & Marketing initiatives. Their primary focus will be to ensure that our value propositions resonate effectively with our target audience, facilitating business growth.

The role also encompasses leading the Customer Back innovation process, ensuring a robust pipeline of product developments for future years, thereby safeguarding the long-term growth trajectory of the business segment.

Moreover, the individual will spearhead the Communications strategy for the segment, utilizing appropriate channels to engage and influence key industry decision-makers, ensuring they comprehend and connect with our brand's value propositions.

Ultimately, the goal is to enhance market share within the electrical sector and sustain growth that outpaces competitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Marketing Strategy for the Spit Brand within the electrical sector.
  • Manage Product aspects including range, pricing, forecasting, and digital presence, collaborating with supply chain teams to align with business objectives.
  • Lead the Customer Back Innovation Process to ensure a steady flow of new product developments, addressing evolving workplace regulations while fostering sustainable growth.
  • Supervise the communications team, ensuring effective execution of strategic communications for the Concrete Business Unit in the UK and Nordics.
  • Develop and implement the Communications Strategy, targeting key decision-makers with full budget and forecasting responsibilities for the segment.
  • Enhance the SPIT Brand's visibility and recognition within selected markets.
  • Guide the team in Communications, design, and digital requirements, while providing necessary support to the Interiors segment.
  • Identify and cultivate opportunities with key channel partners, promoting collaborative initiatives.
  • Establish key performance metrics to evaluate the success of the Marketing Strategy.
  • Actively participate in the Concrete Management team, engaging with all facets of the business unit.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in driving impactful organizational change through strategic plan implementation.
  • Expertise in Sales & Marketing across multiple channels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and assess information to inform business decisions based on market insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with a history of influencing key stakeholders to achieve results.
  • Ability to navigate various Marketing channels, ensuring clarity of the business's value propositions for external and internal partners.
  • Culturally aware, capable of operating within diverse markets.
  • Experience in line management is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Commitment to ensuring Health & Safety standards in the workplace.
  • Ownership of personal training and development needs.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
