Position Overview

This position is pivotal in shaping the Product and Communication Strategy for the Electrical division within the Concrete Business Unit, focusing on the UK and Nordics. Collaborating closely with the Segment leader, the selected candidate will assist in the strategic planning and execution of Sales & Marketing initiatives. The role is crucial in ensuring that our value propositions resonate with our target audience, facilitating business growth.

The individual will spearhead the Customer Back innovation process, ensuring a robust pipeline of developments is established for future growth while safeguarding the long-term strategy of the business segment.

Additionally, the role encompasses overseeing the Communications strategy for the segment, utilizing effective channels to engage key industry decision-makers and promote our brand's value propositions.

The ultimate objective is to enhance market share within the electrical sector and sustain growth that outpaces competitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Marketing Strategy for the Spit Brand within the electrical sector.
  • Manage Product aspects including range, pricing, forecasting, and digital presence, collaborating with supply chain teams to align with business objectives.
  • Lead the Customer Back Innovation Process to ensure a continuous flow of new product developments, addressing evolving workplace regulations while fostering sustainable growth.
  • Oversee the communication team, ensuring effective execution of strategic communications for the Concrete Business Unit in the UK and Nordics.
  • Formulate and execute the Communications Strategy, targeting key decision-makers with full accountability for budget management and forecasting.
  • Enhance the SPIT Brand's visibility and recognition in selected markets.
  • Guide the team in Communications, design, and digital strategies, ensuring adequate support for the Interiors segment.
  • Identify and cultivate opportunities with key channel partners, promoting collaborative initiatives.
  • Establish key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of the Marketing Strategy.
  • Actively participate in the Concrete Management team, contributing insights and engaging with all business unit areas.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of implementing impactful changes through strategic planning.
  • Experience in Sales & Marketing across multiple channels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and interpret information to inform business decisions based on market insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with a history of influencing key stakeholders to achieve results.
  • Ability to navigate various Marketing channels to ensure clarity of the business's value propositions among external and internal partners.
  • Culturally adept to operate across diverse markets.
  • Preferred experience in line management, though not essential.
  • Commitment to ensuring Health & Safety standards in the workplace.
  • Ownership of personal development and training needs.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
