Advanced Pediatric Pharmacy Specialist

Position: Specialist Pediatric Pharmacist (Rotation)

Location: South Glasgow
Salary: Band 7, 37.5 hours per week
We are seeking a highly qualified and innovative pharmacist to become a vital member of our team at NHS Scotland. As a Specialist Pediatric Pharmacist, you will be instrumental in delivering safe and effective pharmaceutical care tailored to our young patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within a dedicated team in a dynamic tertiary teaching hospital environment.
- Provide expert clinical pharmacy services across various pediatric specialties.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to junior pharmacists.
- Participate in the modernization of services and e-health initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Progressing towards a postgraduate qualification or Independent Prescribing qualification.
- Commitment to Continuing Professional Development and completion of Vocational Training Scheme or equivalent experience.
- Possess a positive attitude, exceptional communication skills, and a readiness to innovate.
While prior experience in pediatrics is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement. The role encompasses a flexible working pattern, including weekdays, weekends, public holidays, and on-call shifts.
