We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy & Medicines Service team. As a Pharmacy Technician - Clinical Trials Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of clinical trials across our sites. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our research portfolio, and you will have the opportunity to work closely with our research multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Support the delivery of clinical trials, including oversight and supervision of drug accountability log completion to guarantee compliance with regulations.
- Have responsibility for trial stock levels to ensure clinical trial delivery.
- Support clinical trial set up by preparing and approving in-house documentation.
- Perform final accuracy checking of dispensed trial prescriptions for oral medications.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Pharmacy Dispensary Checking Technician (PDCT) National Qualification or equivalent.
- HNC in Pharmacy Services Development and Management or equivalent qualification/experience.
- Previous experience working with clinical trials in hospital pharmacy is desirable.
