Position Overview

We are offering a remarkable opportunity for a dedicated pharmacist to become part of a dynamic and innovative pharmacy team. This specialist pharmacist role is tailored for individuals with prior hospital or clinical experience, aiming to deepen their expertise in various medical specialties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy support across multiple departments including acute medicine, care of the elderly, respiratory, rehabilitation, cardiology, endocrine, infectious diseases, renal, and gastroenterology.
  • Participate in weekend rotations, covering the acute medical receiving ward on a scheduled basis.
  • Support a technician-led dispensary for a designated period each week.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and optimize pharmacy services.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, including the opportunity to pursue a prescribing qualification if not already attained.

Work Environment

This position is based in a scenic rural area, providing easy access to various regions. The facility supports advanced technologies such as electronic prescribing and robotics, ensuring a modern approach to pharmacy practice.

Additional Information

The role includes contributing to the pharmacy team’s efforts in delivering services during weekends and public holidays, as well as participating in on-call duties.
