Qualifications for the Lead Care Support Specialist (Residential Setting):
- Level 3 in Health and Social Care or higher
- At least two years of experience as a Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home environment.
- Understanding of Person-Centred Care Planning principles.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding practices

- Ensure the execution of individual care plans, performing routine tasks and activities as directed
- Offer practical support and responsive care to residents requiring assistance with personal care needs
- Observe and monitor the wellbeing of residents, ensuring that any changes are reported and documented
- Oversee and allocate tasks for Care Assistants
- Foster and maintain positive professional relationships with residents, colleagues, and visitors
- Undertake medication administration training and manage medication for residents
