Role Responsibilities
The Patient Care Support Specialist will play a vital role in assisting healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality care to our patients. This includes:
- Supporting medical staff in treatment, preventive care, and patient education.
- Facilitating communication between patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
- Performing administrative tasks as required.
A uniform and identification badge are mandatory while on duty.
About K2 Healthcare Ltd
We are a federation of general practices dedicated to serving a large patient population. Our multidisciplinary team includes Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Social Prescribers, Occupational Therapists, and more, all working collaboratively to enhance community health.
Key Duties
The Patient Care Support Specialist will be responsible for:
- Conducting health assessments, including blood pressure monitoring and chronic disease reviews.
- Performing basic medical procedures such as phlebotomy and wound care.
- Providing lifestyle advice and making necessary referrals.
- Managing appointment systems and ensuring efficient patient flow.
