We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our management team at Voyage Care Ltd. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in leading our Byards Keep residential service in Greylees Sleaford.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
- Allocate shifts and tasks to team members, ensuring adequate staffing levels and coverage.
- Support the Manager with the induction and training of new colleagues, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Conduct regular supervision sessions with team members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and confidence.
- Assist with the ordering of medication and ensuring that the people we support are able to manage their finances effectively.
- Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker, with a Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
- Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviors.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, service users, and their families.
- Enhanced evening and weekend pay at an additional 50p per hour.
- Premium overtime rates at an additional £1 per hour.
