Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic General Practitioner to join our team at Witton Street Surgery on a fixed-term 12-month contract to cover maternity leave. As a Salaried GP, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical services to our patients, managing a caseload, and working collaboratively with our existing team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide general medical services, managing a caseload, and dealing with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting.
  • Ensure the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
  • Work collaboratively with our existing team, including GP partners, practice nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in regular clinical meetings and contribute to the development of care plans for patients.
  • Prescribe medications in accordance with locally agreed or national guidelines.
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of the team by reflecting on own and team activities and making suggestions on ways to improve and enhance the team's performance.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and experience as a General Practitioner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to manage a caseload.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of the practice.
