Job Title: Salaried GP Fixed Term 12-Month Contract

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic General Practitioner to join our team on a fixed-term 12-month contract to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will provide high-quality medical services to our patients, working 4 sessions per week on Tuesdays and Fridays.

About Us

Witton Street Surgery is a friendly and supportive practice with 9,500 patients based in Northwich, Cheshire. We are a training practice, high QOF achievers with a low home visit rate, and we value work-life balance. Our team includes 4 GP partners, 2 salaried GPs, 2 practice nurses, HCA, Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, GPA, and MSK Specialist.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide general medical services, managing a caseload and dealing with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting.
  • Ensure the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
  • Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to the development of computer-based patient records.
  • Attend training and events organized by the practice or other agencies, as appropriate.
  • Ensure the practice meets quality standards and receives designated funding.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and experience as a General Practitioner.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to lifelong learning and audit to ensure evidence-based best practice.
