Role: Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals while ensuring the smooth operation of our diabetic eye screening program.

Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming calls and inquiries from patients and healthcare professionals in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient patient care and service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Provide clear and concise information to patients regarding their screening appointments, results, and follow-up care.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to our telephony and IT systems.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and exceeding customer expectations.
