BAM Construct & Ventures UK is seeking a Site Operations Coordinator to enhance our team.

Full-time position: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Your Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Site Manager, you will deliver essential services including logistics, maintenance, waste management, and security for our facilities.


• Ensure site security.

• Manage access to buildings and designated areas.

• Responsible for key management.

• Oversee the activation and deactivation of security systems.

• Conduct regular security assessments and identify potential risks.

• Monitor fire safety equipment and assist in conducting fire drills.

• Operate and respond to alarm systems as necessary.

• Collaborate with contractors.

• Provide emergency access to the premises.

• Perform minor repairs such as redecorating and fixing.

• Execute simple maintenance tasks including plumbing, lamp replacement, and drain unblocking.

• Organize and perform various maintenance duties to ensure the premises are well-kept, following a specific schedule.

• Carry out minor decoration and improvement projects.

• Monitor the Building Management System (BMS) and report any issues.

• Participate in a preventative maintenance program and conduct routine inspections of the buildings and grounds to identify necessary repairs.

• Check heating and lighting systems regularly.

• Conduct site inspections to identify and document maintenance needs.

• Manage waste disposal to the designated collection area.

• Assist with the administration of log books.

• Perform emergency cleaning tasks as required.

• Carry out cleaning duties including graffiti removal and litter collection across the site.

• Be available for on-call duties as needed.

• Coordinate deliveries and manage internal distribution.

• Handle evening event duties when necessary.

• Supervise contractor performance and conduct inductions prior to site access.

• Collaborate with contractors and manage premises-related contracts.

• Assist in safety audits and contribute to risk assessment activities.

• Support the Site Technician as needed.

Who We Are Looking For


• Experience in caretaking or a related trade in a similar setting.

• Proficient in numeracy and literacy, with GCSE (or equivalent) qualifications in Maths and English.

• Eagerness to enhance knowledge of ICT and other specialized equipment.

• Familiarity with relevant policies, codes of practice, and legislation.

• Ability to work independently.

• Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with both children and adults.

• Understanding of health and safety protocols.

• Knowledge of COSHH regulations.

• Willingness to engage in training and development opportunities.

• A flexible approach and a collaborative spirit to work within a team.

• Capability to assist colleagues in fulfilling their responsibilities.

• This position requires a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
