About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our team in the Leeds Community Falls Service. As a Falls Specialist, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team in the community setting, providing comprehensive multi-factorial specialist falls risk assessments and interventions to complex high risk falls patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Provide specialist physiotherapy assessments and evidence-based interventions to patients with highly complex presentations and multi-pathologies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Consultant Geriatricians, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Pharmacists, and Therapy Assistant Practitioners to support the management of complex high risk falls patients.
  • Specialist Advice and Education: Act as a source of specialist advice, support, and education regarding falls assessment, prevention, and management to other community healthcare professionals.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills and experience of multidisciplinary team working with older people.
