Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to drive business growth and achieve set goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Sales Strategy: Create a comprehensive sales strategy to drive business growth and achieve set goals, including increasing sales, market share, and profitability.
- Manage Sales Pipeline: Oversee the entire sales pipeline, from order to invoicing, by interacting with all relevant departments within the company.
- Drive Market Segment: Develop and execute a strategy to drive the UK and Ireland market segment, including account and revenue planning, client meetings, and business development.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and technical departments, to ensure a unified approach towards business development goals.
- Cultivate Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry influencers.
- Assess Sales Performance: Regularly assess and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and devising action plans to optimize results.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in sales and business development within the medical, scientific, laboratory, or technical instrumentation sectors.
