Position:
Special Needs Support Assistant


Connex Education is collaborating with a Primary School to seek a dedicated full-time Special Needs Support Assistant to provide individualized support for a young learner with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who is non-verbal.


This role involves working closely with the student on a one-to-one basis, ensuring their educational needs are met effectively.


Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the student in their daily learning activities.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
• Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviors.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance the student’s learning experience.

Requirements:
• Experience supporting students with special educational needs in a school or similar environment.
• Confidence in managing challenging behavior.
• A current enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
