Are you dedicated to enhancing the educational experiences of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a committed and empathetic Special Needs Education Assistant to become a vital part of our SEN unit within a mainstream educational environment.

This role involves providing comprehensive support to students with SEN, both individually and in group contexts, to promote their learning and growth.

Assist the lead educator in designing and executing tailored lessons that address the varied requirements of students within the SEN unit.

Create a supportive and inclusive educational atmosphere where every student feels appreciated, supported, and motivated to reach their maximum potential.

Work collaboratively with the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO), educators, and other specialists to implement Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs).

Qualifications:

- Prior experience working with children with SEN, ideally in an educational setting.
- A caring and patient demeanor, with the capability to establish rapport and foster positive relationships with students.
- A proactive mindset and readiness to assist in the holistic development of students, encompassing their social, emotional, and academic growth.
This is a full-time role, offering a permanent position.
