Are you a dedicated and qualified Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support Assistant? Do you possess a deep understanding of the requirements of SEN within primary education? Are you familiar with collaborating on Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP)? We are seeking a reliable and experienced SEN Support Assistant to provide assistance in a welcoming primary educational environment.

This role can be tailored to full-time or part-time, depending on the candidate's preference. You will be working within a Key Stage 2 classroom, offering support to a student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and additional physical needs. Initially, this position is set for a trial period, with the potential for extension for the right individual.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement the school's EHCP effectively.
  • Provide dedicated support to the student to enhance their learning experience.
  • Engage with parents to discuss any notable changes in behavior.
  • Adopt a flexible approach to learning and teaching.
  • Deliver personalized 1:1 support as required.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Level 3 Cache/NVQ qualification.
  • Understanding of Autism at Level 1.
  • Experience and knowledge in working with SEN students.
  • Reliability is essential for building strong relationships with the student.
