About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Handler to join our successful team in Motor Trade insurance. As an Account Handler, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our clients, ensuring their satisfaction and ongoing partnership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise effectively with the Account Executive to develop and implement successful strategies for client relationships, attend client meetings as necessary, and action meeting points (if applicable).
  • Conduct market research to establish the most competitive terms available for our clients.
  • Acquire renewal terms and present them to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Produce and issue professional summaries and reports using our company templates.
  • Ensure that all client documentation is issued in line with contract certainty and that premiums are collected prior to the commencement of cover.
  • Prioritize and handle all work promptly and accurately, ensuring that all client queries are handled in a professional manner and processed effectively in line with our service standards.
  • Record all relevant information, correspondence, and documentation on our systems and make effective use of our diary system.
  • Produce accurate and professional documentation at all times using our company templates.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of General Insurance and adherence to the CII's Code of Ethics and GDPR.
  • Knowledge of motor trade insurance or High Net Worth within motor insurance is desirable, but extensive training will be provided to support your growth.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent technical insurance skills, with the ability to process work quickly and efficiently.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent client service skills, combined with good negotiation and broking experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to persuade and influence others.
  • Ability to capture and analyze information from clients and respond appropriately to their individual needs.
