Job Summary

The Global Account Manager at Lenovo is responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to drive business growth and revenue expansion with two large System Integrators (SIs). As the trusted advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for these SIs, discussing business innovation, transformation, and IT initiatives. Your mission is to activate and steer internal and external relations to develop, position, and sell first-in-class solutions that meet the business and IT infrastructure requirements of both companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and own a multi-million revenue business, striving for exceptional customer experience to make these SIs Lenovo advocates.
  • Build a positive book-to-bill sales pipeline and deliver on respective sales and business objectives.
  • Lead a team of sales managers in EMEA, driving business development within the assigned account scope.
  • Manage the entire opportunity lifecycle, from identifying and pursuing business opportunities to promoting and selling concepts, solutions, products, and services.
  • Define and execute competitive bid and pricing strategies in cooperation with the account leadership team and relevant Lenovo stakeholders.
  • Work closely with product units, presales, and services architects/engineers to develop and build customized solutions.
  • Monitor the delivery process, addressing all issues that may affect client satisfaction and Lenovo financial objectives.

Requirements

  • Exceptional sales track record and ability to build excellent business relationships with both companies on all levels.
  • 10+ years sales experience, ideally selling to SIs in Europe, Middle East, and Africa or other Global Accounts.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure and SI industry trends, with the ability to successfully position Lenovo solutions, products, and services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with high self-motivation and action orientation.
  • Ability to build and lead teams to achieve/exceed best-in-class outcomes/performance.
  • Experience in developing and executing customer account plans.
