Job Title: Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist - Oncology and Acute Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at HCA UK at The Christie Private Care – Manchester, Greater Manchester. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery and evaluation of clinical pharmacy services to all Oncology services at The Christie Private Care Hospital (TCPC).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide a high-quality clinical pharmacy service that meets the needs of patients and healthcare professionals within TCPC.
  2. Support the implementation of medicine management systems concerned with Oncology and Acute Care services at TCPC.
  3. Act as a role model in the oncology pharmacy field and undertake clinical supervision of pharmacy staff and teaching of nursing and medical staff.
  4. Be professionally accountable for any pharmacy function for which you assume responsibility.
Requirements:
  1. Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council, with a BPharm, MPharm or BSC in Pharmacy.
  2. Additional postgraduate clinical qualification e.g. Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or other relevant post-graduation qualification.
  3. Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society is desirable.
  4. Experience in a clinical specialist area – e.g. Oncology Services.
