Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist (Acute Care and Oncology)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at The Christie Private Care Centre, a leading provider of cancer care and research.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services to our Oncology services, working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oncology and Acute Care, with experience in implementing medicine management systems and providing clinical supervision to pharmacy staff.

As a Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, you will be a role model in the oncology pharmacy field, providing teaching and training to nursing and medical staff, and contributing to the development and growth of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality clinical pharmacy services to Oncology services
  • Implement medicine management systems for Oncology and Acute Care services
  • Provide clinical supervision to pharmacy staff
  • Act as a role model in the oncology pharmacy field
  • Contribute to the development and growth of the pharmacy department
Requirements
  • Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council, with a BPharm, MPharm or BSC in Pharmacy
  • Additional postgraduate clinical qualification e.g. Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or other relevant post-graduation qualification
  • Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society is desirable
  • Experience in a clinical specialist area (e.g. Oncology and Acute Medicine is highly desirable)
