Job Summary:

The Late-Stage Clinical Scientist (non-MD, Senior Manager) is a critical role within Pfizer's Oncology portfolio, responsible for ensuring the scientific integrity and quality of clinical trials. This position requires a strong background in clinical research, with expertise in oncology and a passion for improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide scientific oversight and guidance to clinical trial teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain current knowledge of scientific and clinical developments in oncology, staying up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, safety, and regulatory, to ensure seamless execution of clinical trials.
  • Author and review clinical documents, including protocols, informed consent forms, and clinical study reports.
  • Present and discuss clinical data with internal and external stakeholders, including health authorities and investigators.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Science degree (PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) and minimum of 2-year Clinical Research experience in industry/CRO, OR BA/BS and minimum of 7-year Clinical Research experience in a similar role in industry/CRO.
  • Clinical Research experience in the phase 3/pivotal space in Oncology, ideally on the side of the sponsor.
  • Excellent knowledge of clinical procedures, ICH guidelines, GCP, and familiarity with FDA, EMA, and global regulations.
  • Demonstrated scientific writing skills and excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English.
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to work on large data sets.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and organizational skills to ensure coordinated and timely delivery.
