About the Role:

A prestigious national law firm, recognized for its extensive legal expertise, is in search of a Public Relations Manager to enhance their Cardiff office. In this role, you will be instrumental in defining the firm's public persona and executing strategic PR initiatives aimed at bolstering the firm's standing in the industry. Your responsibilities will include drafting press statements, overseeing media interactions, and leveraging digital platforms to highlight the firm's offerings and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of the firm's PR and Communications strategy by delivering press materials for targeted media and the firm's online channels.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for media exposure, including securing interviews, feature articles, and guest contributions.
  • Maintain a robust network of media connections, ensuring the press database is current.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to align PR efforts with overarching marketing and communication objectives.
  • Utilize media monitoring tools to assess the firm's online presence and the effectiveness of PR initiatives.
  • Stay informed on industry developments and competitor actions to uncover and capitalize on PR opportunities.
  • Assist the Head of PR and Communication with the creation of internal and external communication materials and event planning.

Candidate Profile:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a PR Manager capacity or a similar position.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for producing compelling content for varied audiences.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and sustain relationships across different business sectors.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of both traditional and digital media landscapes.
  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related discipline.

Important Note: Due to the specialized nature of our client sectors, only candidates with relevant experience in a Law Firm, Accountancy Firm, Management Consultancy, Property/Construction Firm, Financial Services Firm, or a prominent relevant Association or Agency will be considered.
