About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Planning Manager to join our team at the Wales Medicines Strategy Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving forward the implementation and delivery of our strategic objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead dedicated planning support for key elements of our service transformation agenda across Wales.
  • Support the Head of Strategic Planning to continually develop and mature our approach to strategic planning.
  • Provide the necessary skills and experience to meet the long-term strategic goals of our organization.
Requirements
  • Senior management experience within a large complex organization or system.
  • Leadership, influencing, and team building skills.
  • Project and programme management experience.
  • Extensive understanding of the issues facing the Welsh NHS, including an awareness and understanding of the current key government policy agenda.
