Position Overview

THIS POSITION REQUIRES A FLUENT GREEK SPEAKER

The Client Relationship Onboarding Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting Client Relationship Managers with administrative tasks related to client transitions and account establishment. This position involves the migration of a portfolio of clients from one operational framework to another. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in account setup for High Net Worth and Institutional clients, with a solid understanding of KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) protocols.

The Client Relationship Onboarding Specialist will collaborate with various internal teams to ensure the following:

  • Account establishment, ensuring thorough due diligence and comprehensive client documentation.
  • Record maintenance, ensuring meticulous documentation of client, business, and transaction records, with all data accurately captured in the relevant systems.

This role requires adherence to established policies concerning Conduct Rules and regulatory requirements pertinent to each operational jurisdiction.

The Client Relationship Onboarding Specialist will also engage in risk management practices, including training and compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Additionally, the Specialist will conduct ongoing assessments of risks and controls associated with the role, remaining vigilant to emerging risks, breaches, or issues, and reporting them according to formal protocols.

Compliance with first line of defense responsibilities is essential, and the Specialist will interact with clients and internal stakeholders, including Operations, Compliance, and offshore teams as necessary.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a banking environment, specifically in one of the following areas:
    • Client onboarding / administration / Account Opening
    • AML or KYC Analyst
    • Client Services / Assistant Relationship Manager / Client Support Officer

Essential Requirement: Fluency in Greek

The candidate should be confident in client interactions and possess strong communication skills.
