Position Overview: McCarthy Stone is seeking a dedicated Care & Support Assistant to provide exceptional care to residents at our esteemed retirement community.

Compensation: Starting salary of £11.96 per hour, with opportunities for additional earnings.

Work Schedule: Part-time position with 20 hours per week.

Role Responsibilities: As a Care & Support Assistant, your primary focus will be to deliver high-quality, individualized care to our residents, helping them to enjoy their later years to the fullest. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing housekeeping and domestic assistance throughout the estate, including cleaning apartments.
  • Encouraging resident participation in various activities that promote health and well-being.
  • Assisting residents with scheduling appointments, arranging transportation, and accompanying them on outings as needed.
  • Supporting residents with shopping and other daily tasks.

Candidate Profile:

  • A warm and friendly demeanor, with prior experience in a care or support role preferred.
  • A genuine passion for enhancing the well-being and happiness of older individuals.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • A desire to work within the Health and Social Care sector, with a preference for candidates holding a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification, or equivalent experience.
