About Oakdene Care Home
Oakdene Care Home is seeking to hire a Lead Care Coordinator (NVQ Level 3) to join our dedicated team.
Our esteemed facility, located in a serene environment, offers individualized care for up to 71 residents, specializing in: Residential, Dementia & Respite care.
This position is ideal for individuals who aspire to make a significant impact by supporting both residents and staff in achieving their fullest potential. As a vital member of our team, you will prioritize the needs of our residents in every aspect of your work.
Position Details
This is a daytime role.
- £14 per hour
- Contracted for 44 hours per week
- Pension scheme available
- 5.6 weeks of annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
- Uniform provided
- DBS costs covered
- Onsite parking available
Key Attributes of the Lead Care Coordinator
- A compassionate and driven individual.
- Experienced in supporting elderly individuals, particularly those with dementia, and knowledgeable in medication administration.
- Confident in leading a care team and advocating for the well-being of residents.
- Capable of preparing, reviewing, and comprehending care plans.
- Qualified with an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include
- Delivering exceptional care and support to residents.
- Ensuring that high standards of care are consistently upheld.
- Supervising, guiding, and inspiring care assistants to ensure efficient team operations.
- Assisting residents with all aspects of their care requirements.
- Administering medications as per instructions.
- Monitoring, responding to, and reporting on the well-being of residents, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Collaborating and supporting care assistants.
- Maintaining effective communication and fostering strong working relationships with team members.
