About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care and Support Assistant to join our team at McCarthy Stone. As a Care and Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their lives to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care and support to residents, promoting their independence and wellbeing.
  • Provide housekeeping and domestic support across the estate, including apartment cleans.
  • Support and encourage residents to participate in activities that promote their health and wellbeing.
  • Assist with daily tasks such as booking appointments, arranging transport, and escorting residents on visits.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
Requirements
  • Warm and friendly individual with a passion for making a difference in the lives of older people.
  • Experience in a care or support environment, preferably in the Health and Social Care sector.
  • QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with residents, colleagues, and external partners.
