About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our Oncology Day unit team at the Montefiore Hospital in Hove. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support, working closely with our nursing and medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with nursing and medical duties, including patient care and monitoring
  • Contribute to the support and well-being of patients, identifying and reporting any significant changes or concerns
  • Assist with the movement of patients, adhering to hospital policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Good clinical skills in phlebotomy, ECGs, and patient observations
  • Previous experience working as an HCA in a hospital environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
