Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Oncology team at the Montefiore Hospital in Hove. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exemplary patient care and supporting our clinical staff.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist the Oncology team in providing patient care and support
  • Contribute to the monitoring and observation of patients
  • Identify and report any significant changes in patient health and well-being
  • Assist with the movement of patients in accordance with hospital policies

Requirements

  • Minimum NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Good clinical skills in phlebotomy, ECGs, and patient observations
  • Previous experience working as an HCA in a hospital environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Hours and Contract

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00

Permanent contract
