Job Summary:

Castle Employment Agency Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planned Maintenance: Work through the planned maintenance schedule to ensure all machinery and equipment are properly maintained and upgraded as needed.
  • Stock Control: Manage the stock control of critical spares to minimize production downtime and ensure that all necessary parts are readily available.
  • Reactive Maintenance: Respond to and diagnose machinery breakdowns, working to minimize downtime and ensure that production is back up and running as quickly as possible.
  • Production Support: Provide full production cover required for breakdown response, PPM, works orders, planned and project works, ensuring that production is always running at optimal levels.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to ensure that downtime is kept to a minimum and that all production goals are met.
  • Machinery Installation and Modification: Responsible for the installation, modification, and relocation of machinery and equipment as needed.
  • Plant Improvements: Identify opportunities for plant improvements and make recommendations to management.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Time-served Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of a level 3 qualification in an engineering field.
  • Skills: Ability to work at speed, think on your feet, and be a creative and diligent Maintenance Engineer.
