An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated Surgical Services Team Supervisor within Ramsay Health Care. We are seeking a motivated professional to oversee the Surgical Team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess current NMC/HCP registration and substantial management experience in a comparable position, demonstrating a proven ability to lead and enhance Urology and General Surgery services.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the operational management of surgical procedures, ensuring high standards of care throughout the perioperative process. The facility offers comprehensive care for both in-patients and day-case patients, featuring multiple operating theatres and a range of specialties for private and NHS patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the surgical team, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards and operational protocols.
  • Oversee the scheduling and efficiency of surgical lists.
  • Monitor and manage departmental resources, including budgets and workforce planning.
  • Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in service quality and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance operational effectiveness.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • ODP Level 3 / RN (1) qualification.
  • Significant experience in a senior clinical role.
  • Strong understanding of relevant clinical standards and regulations.
  • Proven leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer systems and software.
  • Registered with the NMC/HCP.
