Position Overview

An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a dedicated Surgical Operations Supervisor within Ramsay Health Care UK Operations Limited. We seek a committed professional to assume the role of Surgical Operations Supervisor. The ideal candidate will possess current NMC/HCP registration, substantial management experience in a comparable position, and a proven track record in leading a team while enhancing Urology and General Surgery services.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the daily operational management of Urology and General surgical procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care throughout their perioperative journey.
  • Collaborating closely with the Theatre Manager to foster strong working relationships with team members, consultants, and key stakeholders.
  • Driving sustainable excellence in safety and quality of care and services.
  • Monitoring performance against established standards, identifying risks to quality, and implementing changes for continuous improvement.
  • Managing departmental resources, including operational budgets and workforce planning, to ensure an efficient and effective theatre environment.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered ODP level 3 / RN (1).
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior clinical role.
  • Thorough understanding of relevant clinical standards.
  • Proven leadership capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge.
