Role Overview

We are seeking a Lead Product Owner to take full responsibility for the delivery of technology products, ensuring alignment across various Business units when necessary. This role involves overseeing the change delivery process, guaranteeing that selected internal and partner teams effectively deliver results while acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills within established cost, timeline, and quality parameters. Additionally, this position will manage business product owners and other stakeholders to ensure the successful launch of new technical products and features.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in enterprise product delivery, demonstrating a strong understanding of best engineering practices within a commercial context. Candidates should ideally have experience in the following areas:
- Proven track record in delivering Integration (API, Event Streaming, File Transfer, and Messaging) and Infrastructure (Azure and UNIX) projects in a multi-supplier setting.
- Experience with IBM and Azure technologies.
- Demonstrable experience working in an agile environment, with the ability to implement and adhere to agile principles and methodologies.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as a Service, Containerization, and their application to Integration patterns.
- Ability to operate within agreed cost, time, and quality parameters, possessing the credibility and gravitas to engage with a demanding internal client base and complex external suppliers.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects and leading both onshore and offshore teams.
- Comprehensive stakeholder and project lifecycle (end-to-end) experience is essential.
- The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, capable of standing by their convictions in decision-making.
- Appreciation of how architecture, policies, and governance are applied to project delivery.
- Excellent people management skills, with the ability to influence and manage upwards in a complex environment.
- Proven experience in empowering, enabling, supporting, and motivating product teams.
- Experience in transitioning from Waterfall to Agile delivery methodologies.
