Role Overview

We are seeking a Lead Product Owner who will take full responsibility for the delivery of technology products across various business units. This will involve overseeing the change delivery process, ensuring that both internal teams and external partners meet their commitments, and effectively managing resources and skills within established cost, time, and quality parameters. Additionally, this role will supervise business product owners and engage with stakeholders to guarantee the successful launch of new technical products and features.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in enterprise product delivery and a strong understanding of best engineering practices in a commercial setting. Candidates should ideally have expertise in the following areas:
- Proven experience in delivering Integration (API, Event Streaming, File Transfer, and Messaging) and Infrastructure (Azure and UNIX) projects within a multi-supplier context.
- Familiarity with IBM and Azure technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an agile environment, effectively applying agile principles and methodologies.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as a Service, Containerization, and their application to Integration patterns.
- Ability to operate within agreed cost, time, and quality constraints, with the credibility to engage with demanding internal clients and complex external suppliers.
- A successful track record of managing multiple projects and leading both onshore and offshore teams.
- Comprehensive stakeholder management and project lifecycle experience is essential.
- The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, confident in their decision-making abilities.
- An understanding of how architecture, policies, and governance influence project delivery.
- Exceptional people management skills, with the ability to influence and manage upwards in a complex environment.
- Proven experience in empowering and motivating product teams.
- Experience in transitioning from Waterfall to Agile delivery methodologies.
