We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Owner to join our Commercial Technology team at Global. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the planning, booking, and fulfillment technologies for our Radio and Outdoor business lines.
Key Responsibilities- Be a champion of value, constantly reviewing the work you and the team go after now how it will positively impact the company.
- Work with Commercial teams to quickly understand business processes, finding bottle necks and areas for optimisation.
- Work closely with your team to create a robust plan on how you and the team plan to unlock value.
- Define data-based goals and success metrics, and regularly monitor and report on product performance and that of new features.
- Gain a deep understanding of the technology we use to build our products, assisting with issue resolution and triage.
- Contribute to the wider product community, driving best practices and continuous improvement in all areas.
- Be able to prioritise effectively, making decisions based on data.
- Coach and develop other Product Owners enabling them to reach their potential and career goals.
- The ability to build strong working relationships with peers, stakeholders and teams across the business, leveraging those relationships to build consensus, drive change, deliver value and challenge the status quo.
- A strong technical understanding of full stack development and APIs.
- Strong leader of self or line management experience with ability to influence or lead a team of Product Owners.
- Experience of working in a complex change environment which encompasses multiple product and development teams.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate up to board level.
- Strong commercial acumen and an ability to translate commercial strategy into technology initiatives.
- Ability to act based on gut feeling and experience when needed; willing to take calculated risks.
- Willingness to get into the detail and get hands on but aware of when to step back.
- A curious and proactive mindset.
- Driven to win, always thinking big, while keeping it simple and owning it.
