Agile Product Owner Senior

The Senior Product Owner will be accountable and responsible for understanding the requirements, business needs, and operational context from stakeholders.
They are accountable and responsible for collating, analysing, prioritising and translating these business requirements into technical requirements and units of work in Azure DevOps in the form of (Epics, Features and PBIs) that are implementable by the Data & Analytics Development Team.
As Senior Product Owner, you will work ahead of the Data Development team being onboarded to define an outline Product Backlog for the Data Foundation project and be accountable and responsible for ensuring that there is a steady flow of PBIs ready for their teams so that the teams can work at a consistent pace.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain the Product Backlog, ensuring it is up-to-date and reflects the current business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable product requirements.
- Work closely with the Data Development team to ensure a smooth onboarding process and define a clear Product Backlog.
- Ensure a steady flow of PBIs ready for the teams to work on, enabling them to maintain a consistent pace.
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner in large-scale data-related projects on Azure-based technologies.
- Strong experience in backlog development and gathering feedback in an agile environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and nurture multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent risk management skills, with the ability to quickly identify product-related risks and determine suitable mitigations.
