Key Responsibilities:
Your role will involve:
  • Designing high voltage subsea cables in compliance with IEC & CIGRE standards.
  • Performing thermal and electrical design analyses for both static and dynamic subsea cables.
  • Collaborating with geophysical, technical, and environmental teams to determine optimal cable routing.
  • Leading assessments related to cable burial risks and conducting burial assessment studies.
  • Coordinating the design of sea cable landfalls in partnership with construction and marine teams.
  • Developing conceptual designs while evaluating CAPEX, OPEX, and LCOE.
  • Preparing comprehensive tender document packages for supply and installation projects.
  • Engaging in the tender process and negotiating contracts with suppliers and contractors.
  • Managing interfaces between offshore substations and wind turbine generator foundations.
  • Facilitating or participating in HAZID/HAZOP workshops.
  • Conducting design reviews, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).

Qualifications:
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering (master's preferred) with relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Proficiency in designing and tendering high voltage systems.
  • Familiarity with dynamic subsea cables is a plus, though not essential.
  • Practical experience in HV cable installation is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a high voltage design team.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the capability to produce complex technical documentation.
  • Adept at collaborating within a diverse, multi-disciplinary team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
