Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer or Senior Electrical Engineer to join our High Voltage (HV) Underground Cables team in London. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of our output in the production and control of drawings and technical documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the production of designs through a robust checking process
  • Assist in the bid process to secure further work
  • Work on a mix of small cable projects and major grid reinforcement projects
  • Produce designs, calculations, reports, and drawings associated with EHV projects
  • Collaborate with the Sector Director to achieve project goals

Requirements

  • BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering
  • Working toward CEng status
  • Ideal candidate will have experience in power engineering and good communication skills
