Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer or Senior Electrical Engineer to join our High Voltage (HV) Underground Cables team in London. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of our output in the production and control of drawings and technical documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the production of designs through a robust checking process
  • Work with the Sector Director to assist during the bid process to secure further work
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver projects from feasibility studies to commissioning
  • Produce designs, calculations, reports, and drawings associated with EHV projects
  • Develop and maintain technical documents and specifications

Requirements

  • BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering
  • Working toward CEng status, however not essential
  • Ideally working toward TP137 authorisation by National Grid, however not essential
