Objective of the Position:

To effectively manage and oversee a diverse range of claims, primarily focusing on Personal Injury, Directors and Officers, Financial Institutions, and Cyber incidents, ensuring a seamless process from initial consultation to resolution.

Core Responsibilities:

Key Duties

Engaging with clients and brokers both domestically and internationally through various communication channels to uphold our premium claims service. Coordinating with insurers, legal representatives, and loss adjusters while maintaining comprehensive control over the claim files to advocate for the interests of the insured. Ensuring accurate documentation and processing of claims within the established systems. Keeping precise records of claims in our IT infrastructure, ensuring they are updated and ready for policy renewals. Collaborating with placement teams on matters such as claims patterns, policy language, and client engagements. Performing additional administrative tasks and responsibilities related to claims as necessary. Facilitating effective communication with accounting teams regarding fund management, inquiries, and the reconciliation of financial entries. Staying informed about market trends and system updates. Monitoring workload and providing updates to senior management as needed.

Essential Knowledge Requirements

A solid understanding of the principles of Agency Law and Contract Law to effectively carry out key duties. A comprehensive grasp of insurance fundamentals to perform essential tasks. Familiarity with underwriters and market practices, documentation, and customs. A good understanding of the insurance and regulatory landscape in the UK, Ireland, and other relevant jurisdictions. A proactive approach to delivering claims solutions for significant clients. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with senior management.

Specific Knowledge Requirements

Awareness of Ardonagh Advisory's operational practices, procedures, and service standards. Understanding of the Claims Division's strategic objectives and goals. Familiarity with Ardonagh Advisory's IT systems and processes.

Required Competencies

Capability to retain existing business and foster client trust. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Capacity to perform under pressure and meet established deadlines. Proficiency in using ECF, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong numerical skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

Extensive experience in managing claims across Personal Injury, Directors and Officers, Financial Institutions, and Cyber sectors. Exceptional attention to detail and natural problem-solving abilities. Proven ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure. Initiative in identifying and resolving issues proactively.
