About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Dove Adolescent Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote the welfare and well-being of our young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with our young people, encouraging their development and interests.
  • Support the daily lives of our young people, including their education, leisure activities, and personal care.
  • Participate in activities and outings that promote their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the smooth running of our residential settings.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with young people who may be vulnerable, although not essential.
  • Understanding and commitment to the role, including some weekends and bank holidays.
  • Ability to undertake sleep-in duties as part of a flexible rota.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a positive team player attitude.
  • Desire to engage, motivate, and encourage the young people in our care.
