About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Dove Adolescent Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote the welfare and well-being of our young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with our young people, built on trust, respect, and open communication.
  • Encourage and support the development of individual interests and skills, helping our young people to reach their full potential.
  • Participate in activities and outings that promote socialization, education, and personal growth.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all young people.
Requirements
  • Experience working with vulnerable young people, although not essential, is desirable.
  • Commitment to the role, including some weekends and bank holidays, is required.
  • Ability to undertake sleep-in duties as part of a flexible rota.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a positive team player attitude.
  • Desire to engage, motivate, and encourage young people in our care.
