About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Dove Adolescent Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote the welfare and well-being of our young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with young people, encouraging their development and interests.
  • Support the creation of a safe and nurturing environment, promoting a sense of belonging and community.
  • Participate in activities and outings that promote the young people's interests and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support.
Requirements
  • Experience working with vulnerable young people, although not essential.
  • Understanding and commitment to the role, including some weekends and bank holidays.
  • Ability to work on a flexible rota, including sleep-in duties.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a positive team player attitude.
  • Desire to engage, motivate, and encourage young people in our care.
