Senior Social Worker - Foster Care

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our team of passionate professionals. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting foster parents and ensuring the well-being of children placed in their care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive support and guidance to foster parents, empowering them to create nurturing and enriching environments for children.
  • Conduct regular supervision sessions with foster parents, assessing their progress and providing constructive feedback.
  • Ensure that foster parents maintain a high standard of care, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for each child in foster care.
  • Advocate for the needs of children and foster families, ensuring their voices are heard.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, documenting all interactions and assessments.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Registration with Social Work England or equivalent professional body.
  • Proven experience working with foster families and children in care.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding the well-being of vulnerable children.
