Empowering Young People as a Social Worker

Croydon Council seeks dedicated Social Workers to champion the well-being of young people aged 16-18 in our Children's Looked After Service.
We are committed to providing comprehensive support and guidance to these young individuals as they transition into adulthood. Your role will involve:
- Developing and implementing tailored care plans that address the unique needs of each young person, ensuring a smooth and successful transition to independent living.
- Collaborating with multi-agency partners, including health services, adult social care, housing, and education, to create a cohesive support network for our most vulnerable children.
- Conducting direct work with young people to understand their experiences, aspirations, and challenges, ensuring their voices are heard and valued.
- Demonstrating a deep understanding of systemic practice and its impact on the lives of young people in care.
