About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analytical Scientist to join our team at SRG. As a key member of our analytical team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality analytical services to our clients in the food and allied industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: You will be responsible for delivering ongoing and new projects within our analytical labs, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • Methodology Development: You will design and develop methodologies for a range of food and drink analyses using GC, Mass Spectrometry, HPLC, or ICP techniques, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Client Support: You will respond to client inquiries regarding testing within the group, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Quality Assurance: You will ensure compliance with ISO17025 requirements and quality control procedures, maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and hygiene.
Requirements
  • Education: You must have a degree or equivalent experience in analytical science.
  • Industry Knowledge: You must have strong knowledge of food science and technology, as well as an understanding of GC and Mass Spectrometry, HPLC, or ICP techniques and their applications in the food industry.
  • Experience: You must have experience as a test signatory under an ISO17025 quality management system, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork: You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative and supportive attitude.
