About the Role

PRS for Music is seeking a Governance Manager to support the Head of Governance at our London Bridge Hub. This role offers exposure to various company secretarial and governance tasks within a dynamic legal team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle company secretarial tasks, including filings and record keeping, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate board and committee meetings, prepare agendas, track actions, and take minutes to facilitate effective decision-making.
  • Aid in the management of annual director elections and the Annual General Meeting to ensure a smooth process.
  • Assist with director conflicts of interest and related activities to maintain a high level of governance.
  • Support the training of council and board members to enhance their knowledge and skills.
  • Stay updated on company law and regulations to provide expert advice and guidance.
  • Contribute to governance and legal projects within PRS to drive business growth and success.

About You

We are looking for a Governance Manager who:

  • Holds ICSA/CGI qualification or UK legal certification with expertise in UK company law.
  • Has 3-4 years of company secretarial experience.
  • Can draft governance documents, minutes, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Is familiar with board portals and confidential information management systems.
  • Possesses strong IT skills and excellent communication abilities.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can remain composed under pressure.
